Pneumatic-5000 drives an air compressor with a motor or an engine to convert mechanical energy to air pressure energy and controls the air pressure to do various kinds of mechanical work by supplying the compressed air to actuators such as pneumatic cylinders or pneumatic motors.

Pneumatic actuators are widely used for linear motions such as conveyance, clamping, assembly, etc. of work pieces in factory automation. Recently, a variety of modular products have been developed and widely used over all industries, reducing time and labors required for creating circuit design and writing work.
